Derwent Watersoluble Graphitone are a pencil shaped block of pure graphite which can be used in conventional form or broken into blocks to lay down large sweeps of shading. Available in 4 degrees the sticks can be used dry or apply water to create a vast range of tones and washes. The 100% usable nature of the sticks also means they are hugely economical.
Lyra Graphite crayons are chunky, hexagonal sticks of solid graphite 12mm in diameter. Ideal for drawing and sketching, especially for people who find a larger grip more comfortable to use.
The Cretacolor Monolith Graphite is a stick of pure graphite protected by a thin lacquer coating (to minimise mess). Broad or fine strokes can be applied with equal ease.These graphite sticks can be sharpened with a regular sharpener.
