Pencils4artists began life in a small art shop in the beautiful town of Dartmouth in Devon and has evolved into an online store when the art shop closed after covid. Owners Emilie & Alan Heard became increasingly aware that customers were finding it harder to find single colour and graphite pencils in 'bricks & mortar' art shops and so decided to try to gather a collection of the best drawing and sketching pencils available in one place where artists could browse types and brands of pencils and, most importantly, buy in singles.
As time has gone on they have been finding more suppliers from various parts of the world and increased their stock to cover around 6000 loose stock pencils, tins and collections and accessories.
But now, for a number of reasons, we have made the difficult decision to end our 20 year journey with Pencils4artists. It's been fun sharing this journey with you all over the years and we very much appreciate your support, but all good things come to an end and this is ours.
