Derwent Tinted Charcoal pencils combines the rich, expressive qualities of charcoal with a gentle hint of colour. Small amounts of pigment are mixed with charcoal and clay to produce charcoal with just a hint of colour, easy to blend with finger, Blender Pencil or paper stump, naturally watersoluble to create washes and other effects and darker tones can be added using the point of the pencil.
